New Online Yoga Practice: 50-Minutes Dedicated to Brahmacharya
The right use of energy leads, eventually, to balance. ⚖️
Many think Brahmacharya is merely about celibacy, but the yoga sutras have multiple translations. One may make this Sanskrit word mean restraint of sexual energy, while another has a deeper meaning.
Let's go with this different interpretation of Brahmacharya, which would be restraint, moderation, or right use of energy.
I created this yoga practice before Thanksgiving and taught it live on Nostr last Monday. If you want free online classes, come to the Monday night live class! 👇
We can all use a little restraint, moderation, and the right use of energy during the holiday season. Whether that's with family, food, or shopping—think of how you use your energy. What energy are you leaking? Doing too much of something? Too little?
The right use of energy leads, eventually, to balance. ⚖️
This yoga practice, now hosted on Wimy, is about slowing down and finding that moderation. It's about finding peace and filling your well before you head out into the world, unbalanced, to react to the world around you rather than respond.
I've uploaded 4 yoga practices and one heart-opening meditation practice to Wimy now. When you join, you get access to not just me but ~100 yoga teachers all teaching via video online (live and on-demand). It's a pretty cool way to make your personal, at-home yoga practice a little more well-rounded!
